Joe Hatfield

Joe Hatfield has been chasing blue catfish at Hoover since their introduction in 2013. He is currently the tournament director for the Hoover Cats series and founder of the new Ohio Catfish Club, which combines the Central Ohio Catfish Trail and the Hoover Cats series. He served as the Chairman of the Hoover Fishing Seminar from 2019 to 2025. Joe brings a lifetime of catfish experience from pond fishing for channel cats, river fishing for giant flatheads, chasing big blues at Hoover, to fishing multiple National Catfish Tournaments across multiple states.
